Hi, I'm Surabhi.
I turn complex product problems into clear, tested experiences.
Senior product designer with 5+ years across SaaS, agtech, mobile and web. I own UX and UI from the first messy question to hi-fi design and handoff.
I design in Figma and directly in code with AI tools, so ideas become something people can test, fast.
End to end, from research to release
Research that leads to decisions
User interviews, usability testing and research synthesis that give teams clear priorities, not just insights.
From flows to polished UI
User journeys, information architecture, wireframes and prototypes through to hi-fi UI for mobile and web, built on design systems.
Collaboration that keeps teams aligned
Workshops, stakeholder alignment and documentation across product, engineering and business.
From design to working product
I'm fluent in Figma and design directly in code with AI tools like Claude Code, choosing whichever gets the team to a testable product fastest. Product decisions, accessibility and quality stay with me.

UX case studies

From phone calls to one request: a client portal for temp staffing
94% task success on timesheet approval · 22 agencies
A client portal that replaces phone calls and emails for booking temp staff. I lead its design, test it with hospital managers and ship changes in code.

Designing farm tasks into an existing IoT platform
7 roles aligned in a 90-minute workshop
Farm Tasks lets managers in Blockbase assign a job to a place on the farm map. I led discovery and design, and tested the mid-fi with pilot farms.

A health tracker for families living apart, live in 2 weeks
Live beta in 2 weeks
A health tracker for families living apart that turns lab-report photos into trends, with no medical advice. I designed it in code and tested it with real families.

UI work
Building design systems and component libraries
I've built and looked after design systems across SaaS, mobile and web products, so teams reuse what exists instead of redesigning it.
Merged
I led the merge of two Sensand component libraries into one, structured as sub, content and usage components.
Built for speed
A lo-fi library at Sketchli that got designs to clients in about two days.
Reused in code
Claude Code builds from the existing components, not new ones.
How I design with AI
I use AI to get to testable ideas earlier: synthesising research, exploring edge cases and building prototypes from real components, so decisions get validated with users sooner. The problem, the decisions, accessibility and quality stay with me.
See my workflowBefore pixels, there was fabric.
From textile design to digital products since 2020. The work is the same at heart: bring the makers together and get the details right.
